Hope is the subject I chose for my October collages for the Monthly International Altered Playing Card Exchange. I am still behind in my collages, but determined this will be the month I get them out on time.
October was rough. November started off better. I got a job as a cashier working at a big box retailer. I'm rocking it. I actually enjoy it at times, especially the living wage.
So yeah, I have hope.
I am full of fucking hope.
I have hope that I can maintain a positive attitude in a retail environment during a global pandemic.
I hope that Beezelbug's hood will stay latched long enough for me to make enough money for replacement bug.
I hope that I remain healthy.
I hope my family stays healthy.
I hope that America makes it through the next few months.
I hope.
This series is best enjoyed with the song "Closer to Fine" by the Indigo Girls
Now to turn my attention to my November series. I think my subject shall be grateful.
Love Life.
Be Art.
